Our Story
From a single golden named Quincy to a family of breeders across Idaho — this is how we fell in love with raising Goldens.
How It All Started
I'll be honest — I had to do a little convincing. Jessica wasn't sure we were ready for a dog, but I couldn't shake the idea. So I did what any husband would do: I made my case. And somehow, it worked.
We brought home Quincy, a 10-month-old golden who'd been rehomed. The moment she walked through the door, we were all in. She was sweet, gentle, and fit our family like she'd always been here.
I work full-time in accounting at a local hospice company, so Jessica stays home with our three kids — and now, with the dogs. What started as "maybe we'll do two or three litters" turned into something we never expected: a genuine calling.
We fell in love with the process. Watching puppies grow, matching them with families, seeing the joy on pickup day — there's nothing like it. And now, alongside our goldens, we also have Rose, our Bernese Mountain Dog. She keeps everyone honest.
Our dogs aren't just breeding stock. They're family. They sleep in our house, play with our kids, and live the life every golden deserves. And every puppy we raise gets that same foundation — love, stability, and a whole lot of tail wags.
We're not a kennel operation. We're a family who happens to raise really, really good dogs.
What We Stand For
These aren't just values on a website. They're the principles we live by every single day.
Every parent dog is OFA cleared for hips, elbows, heart, and eyes. We don't cut corners on genetics — your puppy's future matters too much.
Our dogs sleep in our house, not a kennel. Puppies are raised in the middle of everyday life — kids, noise, routines. They're socialized from day one.
By the time puppies leave us, they've been around kids, other dogs, farm animals, and all the sounds of daily life. They're confident, curious, and ready.
We're always a call away. Training question? Vet concern? Just want to share a photo? Reach out anytime. We're family now.
The Breed
Golden Retrievers are gentle, loyal, and endlessly patient. They're incredible with kids, adaptable to nearly any living situation, and eager to please. Whether you're looking for a hiking partner, a therapy dog, a hunting companion, or just a family friend who loves unconditionally — Goldens do it all.
They're smart enough to train easily, but forgiving enough to grow with a first-time dog owner. They thrive on companionship, so if you're looking for a dog who wants to be part of your daily life, you've found the right breed.
And honestly? Once you've loved a golden, it's hard to imagine life without one.
Where We Live
We're based in Kuna, Idaho, with family breeders across Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. Our property gives the dogs room to run, explore, and just be dogs.
Puppies grow up around wide open spaces, fresh air, and all the everyday commotion of a working family. They hear the sound of the school bus, feel the grass under their paws, and learn what it means to be part of a household.
By the time they leave us, they're not sheltered or timid — they're confident, curious, and ready to take on the world with you.
