How It Works
Our boarding process is a simple four-step flow — read through it before you book.
Step One
Decide between Custom Boarding (private, individualized care) and General Boarding (clean kennel with supervised group play). See details below.
Step Two
Submit dates and dog details. We'll confirm availability and send next steps.
Step Three
A short agreement covering care, emergencies, and payment expectations. Required before drop-off.
Step Four
Before your dog's stay, review deposits, vaccination requirements, drop-off hours, and what to bring.

Dogs have access to both indoor comfort and outdoor play areas. Climate-controlled indoors with covered and open outdoor spaces.
We get to know every dog personally. Feeding routines, favorite toys, medications — we follow your instructions to the letter.
Custom boarders receive daily photos and videos so you can see your pup having a great time while you're away.

Payment Expectations
Simple and transparent — here's what to plan for.
Required and non-refundable. Typically $50 — or $100 for stays longer than one week. Applied to your total.
Remaining balance is due at drop-off. Pay by Venmo (friends — no business transactions) or cash (preferred).
Holiday pricing applies within one week of federal holidays. See pricing card above for holiday rates.

Everything you need to know before your dog's stay.
Check-in is available between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM daily. Check-out is by 11:00 AM. If you need early drop-off or late pickup, just let us know when you reserve — we're flexible and happy to work with your schedule.

Please provide proof of vaccinations when booking. If your dog isn't up to date, your vet can usually get them sorted out quickly.
We welcome all friendly, well-socialized dogs — not just Goldens! As long as your dog is comfortable around other dogs and people, they're welcome at Silver Butte. We do ask that dogs be spayed/neutered unless they are part of an active breeding program.
Yes, we require a $50 non-refundable deposit to hold your reservation ($100 for stays of one week or longer). The deposit is applied toward your total boarding fee. Payment for the remaining balance is due at check-in. We accept Zelle, Venmo, cash, and check.
Your dog's safety is our top priority. If an emergency arises, we'll contact you immediately and transport your dog to the nearest emergency vet clinic. We ask for your vet's contact information and emergency authorization at check-in so we can act quickly if needed.
